              Walnut Hill is a learning establishment committed to maintaining a community of learners.  Our mission is to provide an effective, quality instructional program in a safe, orderly learning environment for all students.  Our vision is to provide students with academic, social, and physical skills necessary to become productive, prosperous citizens in our society.

Albert Hardison of Walnut Hill Elementary/Middle School was named the 2011 MetLife/NASSP Principal of the Year for the state of Louisiana.
